    Fall of the bone spareribs
So I cooked the spareribs slow and long in the oven baking at 300 degrees. Top rack in the oven in an open pan, just put pepper on it. After three hours, it had a hard crust on it. Inside the meat was dry and stringy. Not tender and juicy?

    What did I do wrong??

I personaly don't eat pork but my mom makes it

I know the first thing she does is boil them and then slow roasts them in the oven. Once that is done she adds sauce and BBQ's them.

Absoluyely boil them first, that's the only way to get fall-off-the-bone ribs. Not a full rolling boil but a good 20 minute simmer. It renders off some fat too. Drain well then coat them with whatever sauce and cook in oven at 300 for about 1.5 to 2 hours.

    I never tried boiling mine.
I always cover them until they are almost done to keep the moisture in. Then about 20 minutes before they are done uncover them.

The most stress-free way is right before bed, put them in the pan covered tightly. Put it in the oven and set the oven temperature on 170 degrees. Go to bed. When you get up they will be done and falling off the bone, but pale. Just turn off the oven. An hour before you're going to eat them, uncover the pan and set your oven to 300. Add sauce or whatever and let your nose tell you when they're browned and ready to eat.

    Just Dahlia
Have wife simmer as said above
    Throw on grill, low
    Add sauce
    Go swimming

Ask wife to take care of ribs because your wet.

That's how my husband cooks them.:D
