    My english lover boy
I met this boy on holidays and he's 16 and I'm 14, we have been chatting for about 2 and a half months over the internet,he only just moved to australia from england last week. I have fallen hard for him and we have spoken intimitely over the internet numerous times. And afew days ago he said he feels weird doing 'this' with me. And he said he had a chat to his mum about him with younger girls and she said it wouldn't be the age difference it would be the age. He said he really likes me and he doesn't want to ruin things with me. I don't understand. I want to get involved with him but he says he's got a lot on his plate at the momment. It's killing me, I can't think about anything else and its effecting my grades in school. HELP PLEASE!

Back off and don't push him for a relationship or you will push him away,
He and mom are right it isn't the age difference it is your age. At 14 you are too young to be with anybody 2 yrs older. I don't know about in England but here in the USA if you have sex with someone under 15 you are considered 'jail bait'.
Your pushing him into a boyfriend type thing could be sending messages that next you will want to be intimate. Rushing into things at your age usually only results in things going downhill from there.
So you have the option of telling him that you have thought about what he said and he is right and you WILL be content with friends only. Or you need to just leave things where they are and quit pushing for more.
Be his friend and then in a couple years see if it might lead to more but for now NO.

A good percentage of long distance do work out but one has to eventually be willing to relocate. The majority do not work out so people presume that from all the horrible stories that none work out. I would guess that maybe 1% to 10% do work out.
You figure that that would be an average of say 10,000 that do not work out to maybe 100 to 1,000 that do.

Im a teenager, and my long distance relationship seems to be working out just fine. Its just the idea that both people have to be willing to make it work.

However, never having personally met this person and the fact that you are both in different countries permantently, it will be quite tricky. Hate to break it to you but chances are very slim.

But remember, long distance relationships can work because in a healthy good relationship distance makes the heart grow fonder.

Thanks everybody, but the thing is it's not long distance anymore, he lives near me. He moved here last week.
