I am in Las vegas,since my husband had a lawyer for a short time and did not pay him
Now the court date is in November. My Attorney said he cannot change the court date
Even though he left the state and abandoned the home. Is this true ?

Why would you want to change the court date, you appear, your ex does not and the judge awards you the divorce normally??

I would assume the court date could be changed, but again why,
1. you do want the divorce??
2.was ex properly served notice of the court date

I am wondering the same thing... why would you want the court date changed? If you are filing for divorce and your husband was properly served it is up to him if he shows up or not but generally if someone does not show up to a court date of that nature the petitioner will generally win by default.
