    PVC to Abs Plumbing connection

Go to a Home depot and ask for General purpose cement that can be used on PVC, ABS, and CPVC. It is made by Oatey, perhaps by other manufacturers as well. It should say right on the label that it can be used for those different types of plastic, Thanks.

John is correct: there is actually a glue made specifically for this purpose. Some Home Depot carry it, but a pro-supply house is a sure bet. Also, you can use Fernco coupling to connect ABS and PVC.

Oatey All Purpose Cement, (see image) is what you're looking for. Or if you wish to join with a coupling use No-Hub Bands,(see image) Good luck, Tom
