Ok, here's the thing, I was supposed to start my period 3wks ago and I am NEVER later than 2 days at most since I was 14 and I'm 24 now. I took a hpt and it came up VERY faint but it was a positive. Then to double check I took another and it was a negative, then took another and it was positive(faint) then negative again. Its giving me mixed results... one test was a normal +/- and the other was digital(but I took it apart and saw the 2 lines like I did with my 1st child). And I have soooo many symptoms its crazy!! Could I really be pregnant but too soon to tell because of the hcg levels?? If you went through this or know someone who did, please let me know because my doc appt isn't until the 14th(the earliest I could get) and I'm going insane!!

I would say that yes you are pregnant. Try calling your ob/gyn and asking them to fax an order to your local outpatient lab for a blood/urine test while you are waiting to get your appointment. Tell the lab that you want to fill out a form to get the results sent to you hope this helps. Good luck:)

I would say you may or may NOT be pregannt. Either way see your docotr. He needs to know you have had positive tests. Because if your NOT pregnant, that means you have the HCG hormone in your system withOUT pregnancy and he needs to know this.

Home tests can be un reliable sometimes. So if you can't get into see your doctor, go to a planned parenthood clinic for one of their urine tests and see what it says. It's the same test, but a bit more reliable than the stick from the store.

If you tested your morning urine and waited the proper amount of time then you are pregnant. Never heard of false positive if the test was done properly. There are however false negative.

You need to get an exam by your doctor. It is very easy for the doctor to determine if you are pregnant. By examination or blood work.

Well, I tested another one this morning and I couldn't check it until this after noon and I also rechecked the one from last night... they both came out a faint but clear positive... so I think I really am but I am going to the doctor on the 14th still... its not my obgyn but the family planning place in town... its cheaper until I get on insurance... so yea,I thought I would let everyone know that I got 2 more positives! YAY
