I have a mower (Sears 917.276011) That has an ignition problem. I just replaced the ignition switch because it wouldn't crank.Now it still won't turn over,I've jumped the solenoid and it turns over but won't run because the solenoid on the carb won't let in fuel.I've tried to by pass the seat switch and that doesn't work is there another safety that could interrupt the ignition?If I pour fuel in the carb and engage the clutch while jumping the starter solenoid it will run until the fuel is gone (30 seconds) Any ideas?

Hi,
My first guess is you have a blown fuse. It supplies power to the switch and the fuel shutoff solenoid.
