Local area connections- why am i seeing a red x?
    Hi

This may be a simple task but lately I've noticed a red x on the local area connection which indicates The media is disconnected- however I'm still able to connect to the internet.

I click on the icon and it show unconnected - but when I click on network places it show two connections- one is connected and the other is unconnected.

How can I fix/delete this to show only the one that is connect?

If you have a wireless card or more than one NIC card you might be seeing this because the computer if letting you know these are not connected.
