    Gas dryer no heat
Maytag gas dryer , model lsg7804aam, ignitor does not light.
Ignitor is good, if I apply ground to ignitor it lights and gas does turn on.
Have replaced gas coils, same results.
Is there a centrifugal switch that should be activating when motor is turned on? If so , where is it located and can it be bypassed, or reached without taking drum or blower assyblembly aparrt?
Any other suggestions as to what might be the problem?

Yes there is a switch but I do not recommend bypassing it but testing it with a meter to see if it is allowing current to pass through when the unit is running.

I always use a test meter and start at the coil cluster on the gas valve and work back to find the defective item causing the voltage interruption.

Here is a link to a parts page with pictures. It does show a motor switch but that does not mean that is the defective part.
