I have been on my period for 16 days today. Its been horrible. Ive been on YAZ for almost a year, started a few months after my daughter was born. Got messed up last month cause my daughter got sick in the hospital and I didn't have them with me. So I started a fresh pack and my period came on time as to the pills. Then 2 weeks later I started again. For the 1st 7 days it was light and spoty here and there. This week its been heavey and smellier than normal. I got to the doc in the morning. I just wanted to know others ideas of what's going on!

What exactly is YAZ? What are its side effects? Be sure to discuss that with your doctor and tell him/her how it seems to be affecting your cycle (unless you were forewarned in advance that that might happen.)

I don't know what YAZ is either.

However, any unusual bleeding from any part of the body should be examined by a doctor. A period that lasts over two weeks, and which is not part of your normal cycle should be seen to immediately.

Hey thanks. I went to doc this morning. They did a vaginal ultrasound and said everything looked good. So they said it was most likely stress. I was like man how long can it last they said there is no disclosed date that it will stop I could goo for months I like . Anywayss... so I'm started yaz again which is a new birthcontrol.
