I watched this movie a couple of time ages ago and I'd really like to see it again but can't remember the damn title...

There was this group of kids who turn into zombies or something else. Some of there body parts start falling off as well I think... anyway at one point the kid decide to go to a costume party and everyone at the party think that they were wearing costumes and they were great!
I recall that one of them was holding his head in his hands on a stick or something... I think it might have been halloween in the movie unfortunately that's all I remember!

I'm not sure when it came out either
