My Hampton Bay Ceiling fan is controlled by remote. The fna is working properly but the lights do not work at all. The red light does not come on when trying to operate the lights, it does however work for the fan and also reverse. Please help.

Sounds like one of the buttons is dirty, stuck or otherwise nonfunctions. Try cleaning it, open the remote carefully if necessary. If you can't dislodge it you may need to replace the remote.
