Okay me and my boyfriend have been together for good a while, he has gotten me a promise ring and says he loves me and would love to marry me when we are both ready. And I really do care about him, but when we're together and sex comes up he says he thinks its too soon. When honestly I could careless about the timing because I know we will be together for a long time. I'm starting to feel like the guy in our relationship because I want sex and he doesn't. So can anyone tell me what's up with this?

Lots of people have different beliefs on sex. It could be his religion, and it could be personal beliefs.

He could feel that he isn't ready yet. Or feel you are both too young. It would help if we knew your ages.
