Somewhere around January and February, my Gerbil died. I think she may have hurt herself. Not long before she died, I would pet her and I could feel her what I think was her spine sticking up all bumpy and she appeared to be in pain. Does anyone know what was wrong with her?

Im sorry I might be totally wrong here,but every gerbil I seemed to own when I was younger died of tumors and cancers maybe this happened yours?

Was your gerbil like that before? If not, how old was it? It may have just been old. It COULD have hurt itself but if you did notice you should have taken it to the vet. I mean if you noticed something weird then you should have realized it needed help.
