    Concrete Crack Filler / Menders
Any suggestions on products to use to fill a crack that has shown up on our concrete patio. The crack is about 1/8 to 1/4 wide with some spots bigger. Looking for something that I can also paint as I know nothing will match so plan to repaint the patio once the cracks are filled/fixed.

    Paintable caulk to fill cracks.

Be aware it will crack again

They've got really good self leveling concrete patching compounds.

Patching compounds are for more of a surface area or a piece of concrete missing

You don't want any leveling compounds in a crack that small..

    1. The cracks too small to fill

    2. You need a material to flex and keep the crack sealed

It worked fine for me, 6 years and still fine. The kind I used was in a tube and flexes.

In the trades we use the word caulking to fill in the cracked joint. Not we will patch it... A lingo thing here...

We don't refer to caulk as a leveling compound. Products like "Pour Rock" is a leveling agent/compound.

Just trying to keep the lingo right here so posters aren't confused.

What lingo? All I I said was" it was in a tube". They have roofing compound in tubes. It's not caulk. I was just passing on what WORKED FOR ME. Don't split hairs with me, just help the guy.

This is what I went with and cracks in the Crete has nothing to do with self leveling material here. That's a whole different application and for a different scenario..

That's why I posted, Not in least trying to split anything here. Just keeping any possible confusion as to material applications here of what is what.. What could help the Guy more is do you remember what you used. All here like to see how products preform and hold up..

Again Sorry If I upset you. The site takes a bit of getting used too. Believe Me I overacted early on and took things a bit too personal. The good news is in turn it keeps the site sharp that way and anal to a point here is good. And everybody ends up a winner.

    Welcome to the site!
