Numbers Instead Of Letters in My Columns
I have a problem with my excel because it's displaying numbers in columns headers instead of letters. Do you know how can I fix this problem?

Can you explain a little more clearly what you mean? Did you enter letters and they're showing up as numbers? What did you enter and what are you seeing?

You can select the column and select "Format Cells". You can then change the formatting to suit your needs.

    Click on TOOLS > OPTIONS > GENERAL > [ ] R1C1 reference style

    ... uncheck that option.

Your explanation was clear enough. (wink)

Maybe if I send you a screen shoot it would be more clear. In the file attached you will find one screen shoot of my excel and you will find that the rows marked with red have numbers (This is OK), but you will also find that the columns marked with red have also numbers instead of letters (As excel normally displayed them).

    Hi JB,

Thanks for your feedback. And for Microsoft Excel 2007 how can I reach the option described in your response??

Well, when I Google "Excel 2007 R1C1 reference style" the first link says:

How to Switch A1 and R1C1 Reference Style in Excel?

In Office 2007, click the Office button and click Excel Options which you will find at the end near Exit Excel.

Go to Formulas tab and under Working with formulas, check or uncheck R1C1 reference style to use it or to change it to A1 reference style.
