Dog not eating, wheezing, and swollen stomach.
My 8 y/o retriever/lab mix has not been eating for a few days now. We've tried giving her different options, but she just won't eat for us. She also has a bit of a swollen stomach and is wheezing a bit. My husband and I are confident this is NOT bloat. However, we have no idea what else it could be. We had some blood work done a week ago and everything came back normal. Any ideas?

If you took your dog to the vet, he did blood work and he said everything came back normal, then what were other options. Did he say, did he diagnose anything else. Sure, a dog's blood work can be normal and still have underlying medical issues, same as humans can. I would not have gone home without knowing more.

Is your dog over weight ?

My dog is very slightly overweight. Not much at all. And when we took her to the vet she wasn't having any of these issues. So none were addressed. They have developed since she was taken in.

Then it's time to go back.
