    b1/b2 visa to h1b visa
Hi! I just want to ask for your expert opinion, I'm a filipino and I went to the state with b1/b2 visa, I was given 6 months and before my 1-94 expires I applied for an extension, after a month I received a notice from INS that I was denied of my extension and was given a 30 day grace period to go home, if I go home with in that grace period I won't be having problem going back to US. The reason I asked for an extension is because I'm scheduled to take an exam for me to be qualified with a h1b visa. Now I went back to the philippines on the 29th day of the grace period, and my h1b visa is being filed by my petitioner in the US, so ill be waiting for my approval here in the philippines. Now my question is, is there any way that the USCIS will deny my h1b application because of my attempt to extend my stay as a visitor visa even if I passed all the h1b requirements? second question is that, assuming that I was approved with h1b visa, is there any possibility that the american consule here in the US embassy in the philippines will deny me to go to the US because of the said attempt to extend my visistor visa and for not any other reason? Thank you very much!

The US consulate can deny the visa issuance for many reasons. There is no mandatory denial for the situation you describe. You will need to explain if they ask.
