    Lump on my Doxies throat
I have a black and tan doxie, she is 10 yrs old and has this lump right on the side of her
Brisket and it started small not really noticeable but has grown to where we were
Concerned. A couple of our family and friends have told us this same thing was on their
Dogs and not to worry. I have had her at the vets and all they wanted was a bunch of
Money first and didn't seem to concerned to the fact if we had the money and what they
    Might have to do.
After years of this being there it just seems to get bigger instead of smaller and going
    Away.
Mini Daushound and a little girl never had any babies. Has anyone ever had or have this
    Problem with their doggie.

    Thanks a bunch

Your best bet is to get your vet do a fine needle aspirate to see what it may be.

As a pet owner you have a responsibility to give your dog t he best medical treatment possible. She gave you 10 years of love... what are you willing to give her??

Unfortunately any lumps must and should be seen to by a vet.
While it may be something simple like a fatty tumor there is the possibility of Cancer.

If you have always seen the same vet they may be willing to work out a payment plan for you.
