What is the best valve for cpvc and pvc
What shut off valve is vest for cpvc and pvc? The typical ball valves at home depot and Lowe's seem to cut down the water flow because the center opening is smaller then the ID of the pvc/cpvc pipe. So a 3/4 inch pipe has less flow after going through the valve. I am going to replace my galvanized steel and copper piping with pvc for cold and cpvc for hot. Thank you for your help. Seth

You might compare the plastic valves to the brass valves. It is hard to beat a ball valve and for the money I buy brass. I really have not noticed a difference in the flow with the brass valves and I have had the pvc valves leak. No comparison in my book. Mueller makes a pretty good valve I think the model number is R910 someone please corect me if I'm wrong.
