Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right category, but I was just curious about something..

I am 19, a few weeks ago I got caught stealing 23$ worth of merchandise at wal-mart. This is my first offense and have no idea what to do when I go to court on July 21st. I don't know what kind of ticket or fine to expect, and was wondering if there was and easy way to go about this, what to do or say in court.. and walk away with the least amount of fines/tickets as possible. Help please and thanks :)

First off you need to show remorse, which I hope you have. If not, then you deserve everything you get. You need to acknowledge what you did and that it was selfish. You need accept your actions as your own. Don't try to blame someone else or society. Dress nicely, but not flashy and above all else be honest and be yourself. Your punishment is up the court.
