I receive this message on power up.
An exception occurred while trying to run "C:\windows\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup"
Do you know how to correct it?

Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any Software or Hardware that you installed or setup.

After performing a quick Google search, it appears the error is related to your nvidia video card. Either try using "last known good configuration" from the start up menu or reinstalling the driver for your video card.
