Outdoor Wood Furnace Second Thermostat Wiring
I just installed an Outdoor Wood Furnace and need help with wiring the thermostat. My indoor furnace is a Trane Gas Furnaceand A/C. I am trying to wire a second thermostat to the blower on the gas furnace so I can just run the blower. The Trane thermostat wires are W,R, Y, and G. I installed a second thermostat and used two wires, the G and R. I connected the G to the G and the R to the R on the indoor furnace and the back of the second thermostat. The blower will only work if I set the thermostat fan to 'On'. The 'Auto' will not work. Is there a way to wire the thermostat so that 'Auto' will work?
    Thank you for any help!

Connect the green wire to the W terminal of the wood stove thermostat. If the W terminal is connected to a damper or something, you will need to wire in a relay to prevent turning the main stat to fan on from activating it. If so, post back if you need details on the relay.
