Hi,

I'm running Studio 11 Plus on WinXP. Can't open any avi files produced by EDIUS 4 video editing software. After installing EDIUS on my system I used to be able to open and edit the avi files in Studio 9 and 11 and also play them in Windows Media Palyer.

After new installation I can't open them any more, however, I can still play them in Media Player, however, after installing EDIUS. I just get light blue "fillings" where the clip pictures are supposed to appear.

Any suggestions?

I suggest you installing media codec pack, say K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (free codec)

If it doesn't work, you may have to convert the avi video when you really need that video. Many video converter could do that.
