How can programmes be loaded on to an 8.5 inch laptop that has no cd/dvd drive ?

Can they be installed off a SanDisk "cruzer" or equal ?

Not familiar with this type of computer but would assume if you have network capabilities, you could install over network?

If there are USB slots, copy setup files to usb drive and install from there?

Connect a portable CD drive through USB and install that way?

Thanks, tried using the USB port but 'copy and paste' did not give a workable
"set-up file"; so programme would not open. May have to purchase a portable
CD/DVD drive.

Until then, try to use the move option to see if that might make a difference - never know
