Can an employer ask you to cut your hair 6 months after you have been working there ?

If they have a company policy that prohibits long or untidy hair, yes they can. If you were hired with that hair style and nothing was said at the time of your hire, then the employer must show that your hair length is either a health hazard or a safety hazard to your job duties being performed.

I would like to hear as to which hair length do they want, and what reasons do you assume press them to press you to go for a short haircut? What are your inhibitions - religious, social, aesthetic or personal? Are you not a SIKH? Are you a GIRL?
