    OLD bathroom plumbing
I've recently had to remove/replace the old "P" trap in my bathroom. After many attempts, we've discovered that our plumbing has been deemed "illegal" since 1981. Where can we find a trap that will fit 1 3/8" PVC and connect to a 1 1/2" P trap?? OY VEY!! Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

    Dwonn...

Why has your plumbing been illegal since 1981.. Please explain that...

I live in Boston, Massachusetts and have worked all throughout New England and we have some of the oldest plumbing in the country and I've never seen 1 3/8" PVC... ;)

Something else is up here. Tell me as much as you can. Any chance you can post a picture of this setup?

Are we talking tubular metal ptrap here..

There are all kinds of trap adapters and shielded clamps so I'm confident we can help here. Answer my questions...
