After trying 3 different pressure tanks the pump still will not shut off properly, it just clicks rapidly on and off. What would cause this?

What do you set your tank at? Try this and let me know. Pump up to pressure and shut the pump off. Watch the gage. Does it hold steady or fall off to nothing? Cheers, Tom
