I am having a problem with my clothes dryer, it takes forever for my dryer to dry cloths. Even when I put just a couple of pieces of clothing in the dryer it still takes forever to dry them. What could be the problem and how can I fix it? Please let me know!

Do you feel any heat at all? If not, the element could be burned out.

Most likely, however, is that your vent is clogged with lint. Pull the dryer out from the wall and clean out the vent pipe. Go outside and see if you can see any lint where the vent exits the house. You may need to vacuum it out if it is really bad. Also, clean the dryer itself of lint. Unplug the dryer (if not already) and pull the hose off the dryer (if not already) and reach in there to make sure there is no lint inside the dryer.

Lint buildup can cause a fire. This is important to stay on top of.
