Infestation: Tiny beige bugs!

Hi,

I'm new to this site. Hi everyone. Hope you're all doing well. I really need some help and was hoping someone could shed some light on my infestation problem! Please.

I haven't noticed these bugs until this morning, when I saw that my whole work surface, cupboard fridge, TV, everything! Is covered in these speck like moving creatures. They are so tiny that is why I didn't notice them. If there is one or two you can't see them really, but when there's loads it just looks like beige dust that's slowly moving. Its creeping me out because they have got in the fridge too! :(

If anyone knows what they are that's great, and even if you know if they're harmful to be around or worse case, ingested!. because who knows they got in my fridge maybe I ate them :'(.

I can't find anything similar on the net because as they are so tiny I can't match them to any images :( Any ideas about what they are and how they got here or suggestions on how to kill them would be much appreciated.

Where are you located? This would help.

Likely they are either mites of some type that have gotten in or larvae of something that have hatched out.

Control is difficult without an I.D. To get an I.D. you can take some invisible tape and stick it on several then put it on some white paper or a plain notecard. Take the paper to someone that can put them under a microscope to identify them. The Entomology Dept. at the local university would be a good place, a professional exterminator (as opposed to a guy that works out of his garage) might be able to, or even your county's Agriculture office should be able to help.

Ahh OK thanks for that. Sorry I can't help anymore be eing from Arizona usa

I think all the places I mentioned for an identification are applicable in the UK.

Thanks for the advice. I will look into to finding one asap. That's a good place to start I will find out how to contact the department to see if they can help. Problem is I am going away the end of this week and so worried they'll spread even further when I'm away :( Stupid things.
