I had central air installed 2 years ago,& right from the start it would not cool down my house. They have made at least 12 trips to my house & keep putting freon in it. Yesterday they came out & said the condenser was shot since it has had so much freon put in. They said I need a condenser.Since the unit has never worked right since I bought this is there a lemon law on this? The Co. said they will not install a new unit. Any suggestions?

This item you will need to discuss with a lawyer. Sorry but that is the way it is. If it is younger than 5 years there should be a compressor warranty for the part only from the factory. I hope you kept all the records of all there trips.

I would call a lawyer and than call another hvac company. If they were constantly adding froen to the system chances are they killed the system themselves. Sounds to me like either the company or techs did not know what was going on. Too much freon will kill a unit. Poor service from an hvac company unfortunately is not covered by the manufactures warranty.
