I am Presently working in US company till now (June 2009 ) and reached here in US from India on Oct 2008 . I did stay in India for more than 182 days. I had to resign from that company in India and joined here in US company as a new employee. My renumeration is given by the US company and my salary in US is taxed as per US law.
I have received my Form16 from India of Apr 2008 to Oct 2008 . As per Article 16 DTAA Do I need to pay taxes in India for the income earned in US (Double Taxation) i.e salary earned from Nov 2008 to Mar 2009.

This forum is about the U.S. taxes. In the U.S. you must file your 2008 tax return and will not get any double tax benefit on the income earned in the U.S.
