My compag presario sr1610nx powers up but the screen doesn't turn on, the fan turns on and the light on the tower turns on (green) but that's it no beeps nothing :mad:

Do you have access to another monitor? If so, hook that up to see if you can get something.

If you do, it is the monitor - if not, it could be video card itself

Reset Bios

I get the same results with a different monitor. Im going to try a new video card on thurs. To the guy that said rest bios-how?:confused:

If it just stopped working and you have tried another monitor with same results, the next step would be to try another video card
