I just pierced my belly button like a month ago and i have a little concern!
Okay not to be rude but u don't know the answer PLEASE don't respond!!
because I really need reall fact stuff not bull... THANK YOU :)

I peirced my belly bullon like month ago ad its doing good I think.
I clean it twice a day everday with soap and worm water, then I dry it and
put (NEOSPORN) on it. But resently the top hole has been really sensitive to
things like when I had first got it done. Ex. Like to touch and my cloths...
the bottom hole it great though. I don't know if its acting like that because I had put
a new ring in it.. or what? Butt I put the old one back because I thought I was reacting bad to it! I've been reading some of other peoples page and I think its cause I put in a new ring to early. Buut I'm not the doc I don't know...

Ohh and its my first piercing! 1
and I got it done on may 9th.
I put in the new ring like may 30th.
    is that too soon??
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP MEE AND FAST CAUSE IM KIND OF FREAKING OUT!!
my parents don't know and they would murder MEE!!

    THANK YOU
    KRAZIE =)

Well you see neosporin tries to close holes... like when you get a cut or something you put neosporin on it and what not to HEAL the wond. With a peircing you don't want to HEAL it you want it to remain open. So my advice to you is to use soap and water to clean nothing that will help to close the hole though. And to try to keep it rotated that way you keep it open real nice. It's not going to feel great. I got my nose done a while ago and my brother is a certified body piercer... Nothing to freak out about though... but remember when you are rotating the ring and moving it around that you have oil and bacteria on your hands which can cause an infection so make sure you wash your hands first.
    Best wishes!

I know you don't want to hear this but how did you get your belly button pierced without your parents permission? You can't do that where I live.

Also, you could've asked the person doing the piercing when you could change the ring especially since you don't know. Makes sense?

It's the neosporin hon. Its trying to HEAL the hole.

Liz, lots of teens peirce at home with friends. That's how my best friend in high school got her lip pierced.

While I don't agree with it, to each their own I guess.

Krazi, if you did this yourself, or your friends did it, it may be infected. I would take it to a doctor.

Neosporin is not good. Use a sea slt mixture to clean it. What kind of metal is the jewelry? I strongly recommend surgical steel for the healing process. What gauge is your jewelry? What did you use to pierce it?

You should really stop using the neosporin... it's what is more then likely doing it.. the metal can be an issue to..
The guy who did it really didn't know what he was doing that is pretty evident.
Just stick with the basics clean and mobile...

You should be fine if it persists see a doctor to be on the safe side.

Since you don't know what Mugger is talking about maybe you should go to different piercing place so they can tell you want to do and show you what ring to use.

I agree go to a different shop. Have them check it out. Most places out here where I live only use surgical steel. But I don't know about where you are at.

    Good Luck

Did you pierce it yourself? It could be infected because it doesn't sound like you've been properly caring for it. The sea salt solution is one of two things. When I got mine done, there was a saline spray that they gave me. But I was still supposed to soak it in salt water too. All it is is you mix sea salt into warm water ( I don't remember the proportions) and soak your belly button. You can buy sea salt at pretty much any grocery store.
