Will an arrest warrant for contempt of court in a civil (not criminal) case, be noted on passport computers and block international travel,

Possibly when you return and try to get back into the country it will cause you a problem.

    Hello J:

I don't know what those cops have on their computers... But, you can betcha it ain't Facebook. For sure they have lists of bad guys... Maybe civil contempt warrants make you a bad guy. I really don't know, and I doubt anybody does.

I could GUESS that they're not much interested in guys like you. But, I don't know if you want to go on a guess.

Actually contempt of court is and can be considered criminal ( you can end up in jail for it) and yes it shows up on the NCIC computers like any other arrest warrant.

It may not block the travel, but may have someone waiting when you return.
