Hello everyone:)
I was recently contacted by Nationwide Credit, Inc. in regards to my debt with American Express. I was finally able to work out a payment plan with NC, Inc. They took their first payment on 5/27/09. About 2 weeks later another collection agency (Palisades Collection) starts calling my number asking me to call them so that we can settle the American Express debt. I called them informing them that I am dealing with another company. Our conversation was interrupted by another staff member. I then hung up. I called Nationwide today and I told them about the other company calling me. I was told that they would take care of it by calling the other agency. I'm still waiting for them (NC, Inc.) to call me back.
Any advise (please).
