The ER is really just for emergencies as was said, you don't need to use it to confirm a pregnancy. Try your local health department, planned parenthood, or a pregnancy center if you feel the need to have it confirmed, but if they use a urine test, they are most likely just as sensitive as what you can buy yourself.
If you want, try another test at home....maybe use a different brand so you can be assured it wasn't just some fluke on the brand you tried already. In most cases, if you get a positive, no matter how light the line is, as long as you read it in the time required on the test (read directions carefully), you are indeed pregnant.
You can find prenatal vitamins in your local supermarket. One of the main things to look for is at least 400 mcg of folic acid...which all with have, if not more.
If you do take another test and it shows positive, treat yourself as though you are until you see your doctor. Make any lifestyle changes you need to that you know are healthy...what you eat, drink, avoid cigarette smoke, etc..
