She can apply, but I don't think she'll get anything. SS is based upon payments made in to the system. She made none, so I think she'll get none.

She may be able to collect some benefits since she is married to you and you are collecting benefits. Why don't you two go down to the Social Security office and speak to them in person? She probably can receive benefits provided she does not divorce you and she still lives in this country and is not living in another country.
