    If I did not sign a lease and my landlord evicts me for being behind on my rent. Can they legally sue me in the state of KY for back rent?

    Yes. You owe rent for the time that you lived there. If there is no signed lease then they can't sue you for future rent, but they can definitely sue you for back rent.
