I am trying to locate my biological father. I know his name (George Lowery) and the last place he lived ( Savannah, GA) but I am running into dead ends when trying to locate a phone number. Every search engine I have found requires a fee to be paid. I am trying to find him because I would like to know if he is still living or dead due to he was in bad health the last I heard. Does anyone know of any search engines/web pages or anything that I could possibly do a search to find him. Or does anyone know of how I can go about locating him. Any help will be helpful and greatly appreciated.

Yes I have had on and off contact with up him up until about 10-12 years ago. Paternity was established, he was with my mom until I was about 5. I just don't know how to go about finding him again. Last time I got lucky, this time I'm not so lucky. Any suggestions or help would be great. And thanks for responding!

Do you know the approximate age or date of birth of the George Lowery in question? That way I can be certain rather than relaying false information to you.

I just talked to my mom and she knew his date of birth - 8/11/40. So he would be 68.

I am currently still trying to locate an address for George Lowrey. Once in Jonesboro, Georgia his trail sort of goes cold.

I am not completely sure but it appears that the family may have split up. Have you tried to contact his wife or other family members for information? Due to moving between different locations some records have, as of this time, not yet been updated.

I do know that he is divorced. I know that I have a half-brother who lived in Tybee Island, GA (Anthony J Lowery) but as of yet I have not been able to get a number for him. I think he would be in his 40's or so. I know I have other family in the Savannah area. Other than that I have been unable to find anyone.

How about other family members? Have you spoken with any of them? They may be able to give you more current information concerning your father's whereabouts.

I don't know any of them. I don't know names or anything. That's the bad thing. So I am kind of at a standstill because I don't know which direction to go in because I don't know any names or whereabouts.
