New tub install upstairs, damp ceiling below
The bathroom was demo'd and new flooring, wallboard and tile installed. It is not finished yet but I wanted to fill the tub before caulking. First, the drain did not hold the water in the tub. Second, I notice the ceiling below is damp.

    Help!
    What do I do?
    Thanks

Adjust the linkage on the tub waste, (see image) By lowering the stopper so the tub holds water. Next, you should have a access panel located behind the tub drain, if not then cut one in, Check for moisture around the trap and raiser area. Where's the uppermost spot that you can feel or see moisture? Back to you, Tom
