    Bank Account Attachment by creditor
If I have a debt I am unable to pay can the creditor attach a corporation account connected to me by my social security number? The corporation has a different name than mine and has no debt. Thank you.

If the account is in the corporate name it should be safe. However, if you used ytour SSN to open it there is a question whether it's a corporate account.

There is also a issue if you did not use correct accounting and keep your money and their money separate. So as long as you did proper accounting that will not be a issue

Scott I used an EIN number to open the account but the bank also has my SS# because they have also my personal account. It's hard to maintain privacy because of all the laws governing banking.

You have to ask and check to see if there is any link or connection between your social security number and your account.
There should not be ( it is no a privacy issue) it is a issue of legal requirements for bank accounts

But many find keeping their business and personal accounts in different banks

On the CORP bank account, you should merely be a listed signer, the COP is the owner of the account not you
