I got a 93 honda accord automatic. Can't get it out for park. When I press the maual release wiith the key I put it on neutral then it start, but here is the catch when on d4 or d3 the car doesn't have much power when taking off. On 2 it move fine. Can some one help me? Ps the light for the d4 on the dash it comes on and off.

You need to have a mechanic look at this problem since the dash light keeps coming on. Problems with cars don't just go away - they tend to get worse and worse and the longer you let this problem go the more it will cost in the end. If you are having problems like you say it is definitely your tranny going and/or is gone.

If the light is flickering... get it checked... the wiring I mean... if u have a short... it's probably affecting the neutral safety switch... better get it in the shop or tear it apart and fix it...
