I REALLY like this girl, but she has a boyfriend that is cheating on her!
Hello my name is Sam. I am 18 turning 19 years old. I met this girl at church, and she played the piano until she was benched for fornication. I as well play an instrument, but I play the bass. I was the first to know she had done that before she has gotten caught. She fornicated twice. The second time her best friend told. But that isn't the point. I've known her for about 6 months now, and she has been going out with this guy. He is like 2 years younger than her. Meaning he is like 16 and she just turned 18. They have been together for maybe about 2 years, the guy was benched for the same reason but he basically was already out. Well her parents ended up finding out what she had done. Her parents and the pastor told her to stay away from him. She has basically no contact with him anymore except when he goes to church they probably talk for abot 15 minutes. But I was friends with the guy, and he had told me so many things about him with other girls, while he was going out with the girl I like a lot. Well she ended up finding out and confronted me about it. I told her some of the things he said were true but not all. He is her first boyfriend, and I don't see y? If she is so beautiful. But yeah, I so I told her since I didn't really have another choice. So I drove her one day and she told me she was going to break it off, but she didn't do that. They just got into an argument and she got inside my car so we left. Her mom really likes me a lot! Her dad notso much, since that is her litte daughter. Lol but yeah. She flirts with me all the time. I always help her out and she helps me when I need help. We are there for each other. We haven't really gone out just us together because of the trust issues with her parents now, that they know that she has done that. I know I'm typing a lot but I just want to give out all of the facts. I'm getting a bit tired of waiting for her. She know that he cheated on her, but she still doesn't want to give him up. And not only that, she is kind of hard to get to. She is like really closed up. He totally messed with her selfesteam. Like I said before she is really beautiful, so I don't see why she is like that. But yeah. I'm not sure what I should do, I really like her a lot, I know she likes me, but she doesn't want to leave him. I've tried just about everything, and I told her just today that I was going to leave to another city. And she was like, " NO! Y? don't..." She doesn't want me to go, but what else should I do. When I see him trying to sweet talk her or what ever I just want to beat the... out of him, but I can't because I'm Christian. So what should I do, I really hope ucan give great advice to me. Thanks 4 tha help. God Bless U All!. :D

It sounds like its more trouble then its worth; after all she has been going out with this guy for 2 years now so it sounds kind of serious. So she got caught for fornication, really ? That is really tough, yeah.

It sounds to me like if you want to move to another city you should go for it. Like Tickle said, she's been with this guy for 2 years now, it does sound serious. I don't know why she would want to stay with someone that cheated on her but unfortunately she needs to learn from her own mistakes. You can't convince her to break up with him. She might resent you then.

If I were in this situation I would tell her how you feel and then cut all contact. Then you'll have time to meet other girls and make new friends without going through the agony of being friends with someone you have feelings for.

Tell her how you feel about her, then drop all contact with her. If you really like her, don't go try to find another girlfriend just give it some time. If she in turn likes you back and is ready on her own to end the relationship with the cheater she will come to you. I'm 19 also so I can understand where you are coming from. Good luck.
