I have a kenmore dryer which is about seven years old that stopped heating. I have changed the heating element but it still does not heat up. I have also checked the circuit breaker in my electrical panel. Thanks in advance for any help

I was having the same problem with my whirlpool dryer. I went to sears parts counter to buy the ignitor and they told me that 80% of the time the problem is solved by replacing the thermal fuse, NOT the ignitor . So I bought both and replaced the thernal fuse fisrt and that solved the problem. I'll return the ignitor tomorrow. The fuse was only $14.99. ( $9.99 online, but I couldn't wait) I hope this helps.
Obviously, the way to fix this is to take a wiring diagram and follow the voltage with a voltmeter. You need 1) knowledge of electricity and 2) a voltmeter.
