Remove and Replace Tub Spout
I have an Alsons tub spout with diverter. It has 2 little holes at the bottom, one on each side.
Since it doesn't have just one hole and allen screw, I am assuming I can unscrew it. It will only move 1/4 turn! The diverter knob doesn't pull up at this point and won't move until I turn the spout back to the starting place. The diverter knob is on top near the wall end. I think this fitting is at least 20 years old and is solid chrome. Do I just need to use more elbow grease or am I missing something with the two holes?
