Small bump, red, looks filled with puss, found on left testicle.
Hello, I've just come home from school to discover about the size of this smiley face , a small red bump (looks like it has puss) on my left testicle. I am only 14, so I don't really know what to do. Also all my veins in my testicle have become red.

Please help, I have no idea what to do.

It could be a blocked sebaceous gland/ingrown hair and you're seeing redness and swelling due to the infection. I'm guessing you're not sexually active? If not, then we can at least rule out STDs.

Take a warm compress and that may help to draw out the hair. Call your doctor to get checked out just in case because only a doctor can tell you for sure.

Hello again, thanks for the reply so quickly. Can I just change something I said, It's on my penis, not my testicle. It may be an ingrown hair, or so it seems that way, but may there be something different due to it being on my actual penis?

Some men actually have a few hairs at the base of their penis. But it's impossible to say with certainty over the internet. Have you asked your parents about taking you to the doctor? How long has it been like this?

Just found it about 2 hours ago, my parents aren't even home yet, planning to tell my dad when he gets in soon.

I think talking to your dad about it is a great idea. He'll probably have some insight about it and he think it cause for alarm, he'll take you to the doctor to have it checked out.

    Good luck! :)

Did you talk to your dad? Any luck?

It may simply be a pimple as well. Or a boil.

Either way, both could just go away on its own.

An ingrown hair or boil may get infected though. If it doesn't go away in a few weeks I would say go to the doctor.

But deffinately get your dads opinion, and yes, ask him to look at it. Embarrassing I know! But trust me, your dad would KNOW for sure by looking. Especially if it's a boil, boils tend to run in the family and he may have had one.

    Good luck hon

Hm, not big enough for a boil I guess. But, I told my dad, he said not to worry. Going to keep checking it.
