Well my mom had me dye her hair. It was bleach blonde before and she was going dark blonde. A lot of her hair has turned greenish/bluish. Is there a way to fix this without going to a salon?? Can we just buy another hair dye? We have my sisters babyshower next week! :confused:

This is a pretty common problem. Basically, when you do a tintback (go darker), you need to add the red that was bleached out of the hair. The red is not in the brown dyes. Get a light red haircoloring. Do strand tests to make sure it's not too red or too light. Try dyeing a strand with that. If it's slightly too red, don't worry about that. It will fade. The principle behind this is simply green + red = brown. You're trying to go dark blonde; probably from very light blonde. Usually, you will mix the red in with the first dye, or dye the hair with red first.
