OK so me and my boyfriend have been dating for three and half yrs. He recently moved to another state because he got a new job. He ask me to move in with him; I told him that I would love to but I needed to find a ending point in school. Lately he's been avoiding my calls when he text me saying he needed time to himself to think about where he's going personally and that his career is in the way.


Is this his way of ending thing with me or does he really need time to himself and why would he ask me to move in with me and then act this way.

It could be the beginning of the end of your relationship. He's obviously got some issues to figure out. It's very difficult to balance a career and a long distance relationship, because you don't know when you will be living in the same city again.

Give him the time and space he asked for, he will look for you when he's ready. You also need to figure out what you want. Do you want a long distance relationship?

If you haven't seen the movie "He's Just Not That Into You" yet, go tonight and see it. Pay VERY close attention to the speeches the bartender gives. He's right. When a guy is into you, HE will make it happen. You won't have to guess, you won't have to interpret, and you'll definitely not have to wonder to strangers on the internet what he's thinking.

Guys are best judged by what they do, NOT what they say, even when they're saying something you want to hear. Pay attention to what he's doing. That's his message.

Your boyfriend is pulling away. It's not a trick, it's not even personal, not when you think about it. He moved away. His emotional life is simply following what his geographic life already did.
