    Puppie peeing iritates me.
Why does my puppy have to wait for me ,until I come home for it to pee and yet when I lock it in, it complains when it wants to pee and then I let it out?

    I'm not sure I understand the question:confused:

Are you saying that your puppy waits for you to get home (even if he is outside?) and then you arrive and he pees? How do you know he hasn't already peed outside?

And then when when you are home he lets you know that he wants to go pee and you let him? He sounds like a smart puppy if I am getting this right.:)

Please explain what the problem is more clearly:D

    Lol

    I think I understand

What happens is whne you come home, your puppy gets SOOO SOO SOO AMAZINGLY EXCITED>

This will always cause a young puppy (sometimes even grown dogs) to pee. Even if they have peed outside all day.

    Good luck hon.

If Jennie is correct, this could be a mild form of separation anxiety. You can calm him/her down somewhat by leaving for various times and coming back in. Start with a minute or so and progress to longer times.

As for whining to go out of the crate and outside, that's a good thing.

Catsmines way is great, it's what I do. Along with that, when you get home ignore your puppy until it has calmed down. It will learn that as soon as you come in the door you aren't going to give it attention so there is no need for over excitement.
