    Dryer timer not turning & no heat
    I have an Inglis dryer and it is not heating at all and the timer does not seem to move.
    The dryer is turning on

    Does the timer advance on time dry? Check the leads on the timer that go to the timer motor. You should get 120V with the dryer on. If you get voltage and the timer does not advance then it is a timer problem. This may or may not be your heating problem as well. Check the element with an ohm meter to make sure it is still good. With the dryer on you should get 220V to the element. If you don't get proper power then it is a timer problem.
